Sep 25, 2012 | Republicans are doing everything they can to make sure as few people as possible vote in this November’s elections. We’re progressives and we want every eligible voter to vote and every ballot cast to be counted. But you can’t vote if you’re not registered, so the first step to accomplishing that goal is to make sure as many people as possible register to vote – and do so before it’s too late to be able to vote in November.

To that end, our friends at Campus Progress and hundreds of other organizations have declared today National Voter Registration Day. So, get involved, get registered, tell your friends and family to get registered, and help make sure that as many people as possible register and vote. We don’t want a repeat of 2008 when 6 MILLION people didn’t vote because they missed the deadline or didn’t know how to register.
